Hello, sunshine

We make dresses for the good days. The ones that start with coffee on the deck and end barefoot at somebody's long table, still in the same dress, still perfectly happy.

The atelier

Made by hand,
made for fun

01

The Print

Every print starts as a painting on our studio table — gouache, a very fine brush and somebody's good afternoon. We engrave from the original, so the brushstrokes stay in. No two runs are ever exactly the same, and we like it that way.

02

The Ruffle

Tiers are cut on the bias so they fall in a curve rather than a straight drop. It costs us nearly twice the cloth. It is also the entire reason the skirt moves the way it does when you turn around.

03

The Finish

Hand-embroidered trims, covered buttons, ties long enough to actually tie. Pockets in almost everything, because a dress you cannot put your hands in is a dress you will not wear twice.
